Saurabh Tiwary – Former Indian Cricketer & IPL Middle-Order Batsman

Saurabh Tiwary (born 30 December 1989) is a former Indian cricketer known for his left-handed middle-order batting. Born in Jamshedpur (then Bihar, now Jharkhand), Tiwary was a key player in India’s victorious 2008 Under-19 World Cup squad. He was also part of the Indian team that won the 2010 Asia Cup.

Tiwary started his IPL journey with Mumbai Indians in 2008 and became a regular in the 2010 season, earning the Under-23 player of the tournament for his consistent performances. Over the years, he played for various IPL teams including Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils, Rising Pune Supergiants, and had multiple stints with Mumbai Indians.

Internationally, Tiwary debuted in ODIs against Australia in 2010 but played only a handful of matches. Despite limited international exposure, he remained a prominent figure in domestic cricket and the IPL.
