Early Life & Education
Ishita Dutta was born and raised in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in a Bengali Hindu family. She studied at D.B.M.S. English School, and later moved to Mumbai for higher education in Media Studies.
Her elder sister is Tanushree Dutta, who was crowned Femina Miss India 2004 and also worked in Bollywood.
Personal Life
Ishita met actor Vatsal Sheth on the sets of Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar in 2016. The two tied the knot on 28 November 2017 in Mumbai.

Film Career
Ishita made her film debut in 2012 with Chanakyudu (Telugu) and Yenidu Manasali (Kannada). Her Bollywood breakthrough came in 2015 with the critically acclaimed film Drishyam, where she played Anju Salgaonkar. She reprised this role in Drishyam 2 (2022).
