Early life (प्रारंभिक जीवन)

Ankita Kumari was born on 21 February 1996 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Ankita’s father’s name is Ramesh Prasad Yadav. Born and brought up in Jamshedpur, Ankita did her schooling from Beldih Church School and then completed her Master of Journalism and Mass Communication at Amity University, Kolkata.

Career (करियर)

Ankita became Miss Jamshedpur in 2014, from where her journey started successfully. She made it to the top 3 in Femina Miss India West Bengal 2017 and was selected as a finalist in the Miss Diva 2017 Kolkata auditions. In 2017, she also crowned Miss India International 2017. Ankita represented India at Miss International 2017 in Japan.

Apart from this, Ankita Kumari was also appointed as Japan Tourism Ambassador. She was also the runner-up in Tiara Queen by TGPC. Her favorite Miss International is Kylie Versoza from whom she gets a lot of inspiration.

In an interview she says:

“My first reaction was WOW! It was always a dream to represent India on a big platform and I was selected after a rigorous vetting by Glamourand Supermodel India (they have the license to send India’s representative to Miss International). I was in awe But was confident and told myself that I will do justice to the faith that my national director has shown in me. There can be no greater feeling of pride than to be called an Indian.”
