Auritra Ghosh is an Indian actress and trained dancer who has made her mark across films, web series, theatre, and advertising. Known for her natural screen presence and strong performance skills, she has worked in notable Indian films such as Love Breakups Zindagi, M Cream, and Dharam Sankat Mein. In recent years, she has also gained recognition for her impactful roles in popular web series, including the award-winning digital sci‑fi thriller A.I.SHA: My Virtual Girlfriend and Y‑Films’ Ladies’ Room.

Apart from films and web projects, Auritra became a widely recognized face after featuring in Google Search’s iconic “Reunion” ad campaign, where her subtle and emotionally layered performance earned appreciation from audiences and critics alike.

Auritra Ghosh was brought up in Delhi and comes from a Bengali family with deep cultural roots. Her upbringing, combined with an early inclination toward creativity and performance, laid a strong foundation for her journey in the performing arts. She began training seriously at a young age and started exploring multiple artistic disciplines by the time she was a teenager.

Auritra began her professional journey in the performing arts at the age of 16. To strengthen her foundation, she joined The Danceworx – Performing Arts Academy in 2001. Along with her earlier training in Kathak, she trained extensively in jazz, ballet, modern, and contemporary dance forms.

By 2002, she became a full-time instructor and choreographer at the academy. During this phase, she trained under several renowned dance teachers from around the world. In 2007, Auritra represented India at the Fontys Academy International Dance Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands, marking a significant milestone in her dance career.

Alongside dance, Auritra has been actively involved in theatre. She has performed in multiple stage productions, including an adaptation of the award-winning play August: Osage County, directed by the acclaimed theatre personality Lillete Dubey.

In 2017, she choreographed and performed in a Motley Production’s adaptation of The Threepenny Opera, staged as part of Aadyam, a theatre initiative by the Aditya Birla Group. She is also part of the cast of STAND UP: A Serious Play About Comedy, produced by Akvarious Theatre, further highlighting her versatility as a performer.

Auritra Ghosh has appeared in several feature films and digital projects, earning praise for her realistic and nuanced performances. Her work spans mainstream cinema, indie films, and web series.
